Great Weekend- Rating 5/5

The B&B is just a short distance from the centre of Betws-y-Coed on the main road. It has room for 4 cars at the rear of the property and also there is road side parking to the front of the property. The rooms are well equipped with tea coffee etc and if you are running a little low on supplies you can stock up in the dining room. We have just stayed at the B&B 7th - 10th February and the weather was a bit chilly but the rooms were always very warm.My important part of a B&B is the breakfast and this ticked all the boxes freshly cooked and plentiful. The host Jackie and her husband are very knowledgeable about the area if you are in to walking they will advise you about the best routes and if you are. wanting somewhere to eat they recommended some great places to myself and wife. We will definitely recommend to people and we will definitely be returning in the near future.

So glad we came across this lovely B&B, we had a lovely one night stay here and hosts were very friendly and welcoming and couldn't wish for a better breakfast. Plenty of on and off street parking available and easy walk into Betws y Coed. Thank you Gary and Jackie😀

Lovely stay, lovely hosts!- Rating 5/5

We had a perfect couple of days in the lovely small village, where Jackie and Gary gave great recommandations of what to see, where to hike and where to eat, which we were very grateful for! The room was cosy and the double duvee was nice! We were served lovely breakfast by Jackie and will definitely recommend this place to others who would like to spend time in magnificent northern Wales!

Splendid experience at Gary and Jackie’s lovely home.- Rating 5/5

A very pleasant stay for 3 nights at Bod Gwynedd. It was as if we had been invited for a weekend with friends. Everything was beautifully clean and comfortable and the small niceties like fresh milk for each room being replenished daily and kept in a guest fridge was so good. Breakfast was cooked individually for each guest and all tastes etc catered for. The food was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The hearts of the owners were definitely in their home and business and that made the stay exceptional.

Superb B&B - Rating 5/5

A really lovely B&B. the bed was huge a super comfy and plenty big enough to put all out clothes, shoes / boots we bought with us for all weathers (which we didn’t need most due to the fabulous weather!). the cooked breakfast was delicious and Jackie even cooked just egg yolks for hubby. fresh water and milk was provided every day and the fridge for guest use was really useful. Jackie was so helpful recommending places to go and even lent us puns coins for the Swallow Falls ( which we subsequently didn’t need as Gary was right - it is now contactless!).The B&B is ideally located a short walk from the centre of Betws y Coed so we could easily walk out to one of the many places to eat each evening. It is also ideally situated for exploring Snowdonia and Snowdon, which we climbed twice thanks to the beautiful weather. the bus stop to Llanberris atopping at Penypass is also ideally situated about 50m up the road. Would thoroughly recommend staying here and will definitely be back.

A warm welcome and great stay - Rating 5/5

Our hosts Gary and Jackie provided a warm welcome and we're helpful with information and advice. The accommodation action was a good standard and was well located for Snowdonia with off road parking. We actually travelled by train from London and found that not having a car did not cause us any problems

Fabulous location! - Rating 5/5

We truly enjoyed our stay with Jackie and Gary! What a lovely abode they had, filled with their love of the area, especially the artwork! Our hosts met us upon arrival and immediately gave us a plethora of choices for hikes and locations to eat in the evening, along with priceless tips about where to park and when to book the mountain train. They have a pretty good sized car park in the rear of the house, but there is plenty of open parking in front, as well. Our room was on the 1st floor and we woke up and went to bed to amazing views. Our visitor information book, while we abided there, was filled with helpful hints and advice. Gary and my husband seemed to be on the same wavelength when it came to choosing which hike to do and where to go each day. Thank you! Sometimes, it can seem daunting when you're in the thick of it. We loved every trek! The breakfast was awesome every day, too. Jackie made sure you had your choices available each day and we loved that she allowed you to update each day or not (your preference). She even accommodated our need to have fresh washcloths everyday. Our wonderful departing gift was warm, fresh-made bisquits that she hoped would help us on our journey if we got hungry. We are happy to say they did help us, but we didn't get very far before we had them at our first stop! Lovely B&B, truly kind and responsible hosts, and a beautiful part of the world it travel about.

Three night stay - Rating 4/5

We chose Bod Gwynedd partly due its location and the reviews. We planned to do Snowden on one day and a long walk on a second day. The location is ideal for catching the S1 bus to several dropping off points for Snowdenand a short walk into the village for evening meals. We have to leave before our alloted breakfast time on the Snowden day. However, Jackie did make some sandwiches for us to take. Breakfast is menu based and chosen the night before along with allotted breakfast times depending on room number. Breakfast quality was good. Room was a good size and we were concerned as it was by a main road. Needn't have worried as did not hear any traffic noise during the night.

Welcoming, helpful, caring, kind and homely - Rating 5/5

The hosts, Jackie & Gary went out of their way to welcome myself and friends; they made us feel comfortable and at home - even to the point of coming to collect me when I took a left turn from the station & walked 21 mins in the opposite direction. In addition, we got a wellbeing text to check that we were OK after our Snowdon Experience as we had left at around 9:30am and evening had drawn in.The breakfast was delicious; Isampled both the full English & Salmon & Scrambled Eggs on different days.My room was comfortable and very clean with all of the essentials needed for a short stay. The cosy front garden was just spacious enough for us weary, Snowdon, pain inflicted walkers to do a Tai Chi much needed stretch & session.Jackie and Gary were & are amazing!

Perfect stay - Rating 5/5

Got back yesterday (5th May ‘24’) from a 3night stay at Bod Gwynedd. Exceptional B&B with the most lovely, friendly and helpful hosts Gary&Jackie..who also provide a fabulous breakfast, the fresh fruit salad and cooked breakfast were absolutely spot on! The B&B is in a lovely location for some gorgeous views and walks and is also within walking distance to the shops/bars&restaurants. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again :-)
